Welcome to the March issue of the F&I newsletter

Spring has sprung, but what changes are blooming in the financial world? This month we turn our attention to an open forum to be held at Staple Inn on 12 April: Is high inflation inevitable?    Ian Harwood (Evolution Securities) and Jonathan Ruffer (Ruffer LLP) will be looking to the future and considering whether the impact of the crisis and the extensive government response means we might be heading for the Weimar Republic or the recent Japanese experience.  This free event will start at 17.30 (registration from 17.00) and full details and a booking form are available here.

This event introduces the new ERM guide, produced jointly by the Profession and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). The guide takes an holistic approach to enterprise risk management and advocates a systematic identification of uncertainty. The authors will explain the rationale behind the recommendations, followed by an in-depth discussion of the guide's effectiveness, implementation issues that user organisations might face and how it might be usefully further developed.
The event will start at 17.30 and will be followed by a networking reception at 19.30.
